About Me
Archie Davis III, MSW, MPH, LICSW, LCSW-C is a licensed clinical social worker, author, and advocate with over twenty years of experience serving Black men, families, and communities across a wide range of clinical settings.
His work is grounded in trauma-informed practice, culturally centered healing, and an unwavering commitment to making mental health care more accessible and more acceptable — particularly for African American men. As a Black man himself, Archie brings both professional expertise and personal insight to everything he writes and creates, building resources that meet Black men where they are and give them tools they can actually use.
Through his books, workbooks, and clinical tools, Archie is on a mission to close the gap between what Black men carry and what they have been given to carry it with.
