In 2024, I became a mother, but not in the way I imagined. I carried my daughter, Aurora, with so much love and hope. But I never got to raise her. I lost her in my third trimester, and my world shifted in ways I still can’t fully describe.

In the silence that followed, I realized how uncomfortable people are with grief, how few knew what to say or how to say it. Some meant well, but their words hurt. Others stayed silent, afraid to say the wrong thing. I didn’t blame them… but I knew something had to change.

Aurora Within was born from that space, from a deep desire to turn pain into purpose. It’s a home for healing conversations, for resources that help people show up with love and courage in life’s hardest moments. It’s named after my daughter because even in loss, she continues to light the way.
