About Aussie Homeschooling Hub

I'm Pete, a Queensland-based dad who home educates my daughter. Aussie Homeschooling Hub grew out of that — not a product built for a market first, but a set of tools I built because I genuinely needed them for our own home education program.

School wasn't working for her. She was being bullied, and on top of that she was struggling to concentrate in a big, busy classroom — the two together meant she was going backwards, not forwards. Pulling her out and taking over her education ourselves was the right call, but it also meant I suddenly needed to build an entire structured program from scratch, on top of everything else.

I kept running into the same problem: most homeschool resources are either American, generic across all of Australia's states and territories, or written by people who've never actually had to sit down and write a registering-authority report at 11pm. Wattlewood, Sapling, and the rest came out of solving that for my own family first — genuinely Australian-Curriculum-aligned, built around real evidence and reporting, not just worksheets.

Everything here is still actively used in our own home education program before it ever reaches you — if something's in Wattlewood, it's because it's genuinely working for us too.
