28 Days — The Real Evidence Guide for Australian Home Educators

Every state and territory in Australia runs its own home education system, with its own forms, its own timeframes, and its own particular way of asking you to prove what you're doing. Underneath all of that, every single one is really checking for the same three things — and this book tells you exactly what they are, and how to genuinely show them.

Written by the founder of Aussie Homeschooling Hub, drawing on real experience — including surviving an actual Show Cause Notice that put his own daughter's home education at real risk, and the 28 days he had to prove it should continue.

What's inside:

• What every registering authority is actually checking for, underneath the different paperwork
• How to choose your registering authority and understand what "approval" really means, state by state
• Building a learning plan around real engagement, not just what looks good on paper
• What "evidence" genuinely means — including a real week-in-the-life example, and what a full term's worth of that evidence actually produces
• The most common, well-researched reasons applications and renewals get sent back — and how to avoid every one of them
• Building an evidence habit that survives your hardest weeks, not just your best ones
• What actually happens at a registration visit or review, state by state
• How to respond to a routine follow-up question without panic
• Renewals — what genuinely changes each year, and what doesn't
• The full, honest story of a real Show Cause Notice — what led to it, the 28 days that followed, and what actually happened
• A real, researched breakdown of the appeals process in every state and territory, including where that process isn't clearly published

This isn't legal advice, and it isn't a generic overview — it's the guide the author wishes someone had handed him before things went wrong for his own family.
