Wattlewood Field Notes — Mobile Excursion Logger

Wattlewood Field Notes — log excursions from your phone, offline

A pocket-sized companion for Wattlewood and Wattlewood Sapling. Field Notes lives on your phone as a one-tap home screen icon — no app store, no account, nothing to install. Log the location, date, what happened, the learning focus, and which year levels it covers, right there in the moment.

When you're back home, open your Wattlewood or Sapling app, scan the QR code shown on your phone (or paste in the short code manually), and the excursion drops straight into your evidence record — no re-typing.

What's included:

• A hosted link that installs as a home screen app on iPhone or Android
• Fully offline once set up — no signal needed while you're out
• QR code and manual-code sync back to your desktop app
• Saved entries stay on your phone until you're ready to sync

Requires Wattlewood or Wattlewood Sapling to actually use the synced entries — Field Notes is a companion tool for logging on the go, not a standalone curriculum or record-keeping app on its own.
