Kenise Brown, BA, is an author who realized that her passion was writing for children. Her passion increased in college after taking a Children's literature course where she had to write a story. That story opened journals for her to write more stories such as "The Elves Are Coming to Town".

She plans to create and publish books that displays the positive representation of children and families of color.
