Meet Tasha K
If there's one thing you'll learn about my books, it's that nobody falls in love alone.
Somebody's auntie is asking questions she has no business asking. A cousin is stirring up trouble. The family group chat is already five hundred messages deep before breakfast. Somebody's in the kitchen cooking enough food for twenty people, and before the night is over, everyone has an opinion about who belongs together.
That's the world I love writing.
My stories celebrate Black love, Black joy, unforgettable communities, and the beautifully messy families that remind us home isn't just a place, it's the people who choose you.
Whether I'm writing a small-town romance, a family saga, a sports romance, romantic suspense, or something a little darker, every story is built on the same promise:
Love always gets the last word.
Many of my stories take readers to Eastwood Park, a fictional neighborhood in Houston where friendships become family, businesses are built with love, and everybody knows everybody.
Other stories travel beyond its streets, exploring new places, new communities, and new couples. Wherever the setting, my goal is always the same, to create characters who feel like people you'd happily invite to Sunday dinner.
When you finish one of my books, I hope you don't just remember the romance.
I hope you remember the neighborhood.
I hope you remember the family.
I hope you remember the laughter.
Most of all, I hope you leave believing that love, real, joyful, imperfect love, is always worth choosing.
Welcome.
I'm so glad you're here.
