I’m Chinaedu Okwumabua, founder of AutismWhispers and an Occupational Therapy Assistant with more than 20 years of hands-on experience supporting children with autism and other developmental challenges.
Throughout my career, I have helped children strengthen essential skills involving sensory processing, motor planning, communication, play, self-regulation, and everyday activities such as dressing, grooming, and participating in daily routines. I believe meaningful progress happens when children receive patient, consistent support that respects their individual abilities, needs, and pace of learning.
I created AutismWhispers to give parents, caregivers, educators, and therapists practical, easy-to-follow resources they can use in everyday life. Through guided activities, visual supports, educational materials, and professional insight, AutismWhispers helps families better understand behavior, encourage communication, and build greater functional independence.
My mission is not to promise a cure, but to help every child develop skills, confidence, and meaningful participation—one achievable step at a time.
