Hi, I’m Jade, the creator behind Beyond the Diagnoses.

Like many parents navigating the world of additional needs, I never expected to become an expert in appointments, reports, therapy notes, school meetings and endless paperwork. But when your child has complex needs, organisation quickly becomes a necessity rather than a choice.

My son, Oscar, has a complex developmental journey and is supported by multiple professionals across healthcare, education and specialist services. Over the last year, I’ve found myself juggling hospital appointments, therapy recommendations, educational planning, specialist reports and day to day observations, often across several notebooks, folders and emails.

I created Beyond the Diagnoses because I couldn’t find a planner that truly reflected the realities of life for families like ours. I wanted something that went beyond generic organisation and focused on the things SEN families actually need to keep track of: appointments, therapies, school communication, EHCP information, health records, sensory observations and wellbeing.

Every product I create is inspired by real life experiences and designed with practicality in mind. My goal is to help other families feel more organised, more prepared and more confident when advocating for their children.

Because behind every diagnosis is a child, a family and a story that deserves to be seen.
