I'm a small business owner, baker, and the person behind The Cake Tasting Club - a subscription box business I've been building from the ground up.

Running a product-based business teaches you a lot. It teaches you how to price properly (after getting it very wrong first), how to manage your finances, how to market on a shoestring, and how to keep going when it feels like a lot.

It also taught me that there's a real lack of practical, no-nonsense resources out there for people running small baking businesses. Most advice is too generic, too complicated, or written by people who've never actually tried to work out how to price a celebration cake while also fulfilling orders.
