Welcome to My Studio
Hello, and thank you for checking out my studio.
My name is Barbara, also known as Barbelo, a name I began using in 2020.
My portfolio website can be found here: Barbelo Creations
As a creative entrepreneur and former QA/BA Analyst, I’ve blended my professional strengths with a deep personal calling: crafting resources and stories that help people of all ages reflect, heal, and grow. My work is rooted in emotional care, spiritual insight, and the quiet power of journaling life’s sacred lessons.
My first offering, Tender Bridge, emerged from a season of profound transition shaped by love, loss, caregiving, and the search for meaning. I’ve spent years walking alongside aging and ill loved ones, navigating grief, and learning how to hold space for both sorrow and hope. Many of the workbook’s elements were born from my own healing journey after the loss of my marriage. They offered clarity, comfort, and a way forward with quiet courage.
This resource is a bridge between the practical and the sacred designed to support seniors, caregivers, and anyone seeking gentle guidance. Whether you’re journaling through grief, planning care for a loved one, or simply looking for a peaceful place to reflect, I hope these pages meet you with kindness.
I’m not here as an expert, I’m here as someone who understands. And I’m honored to walk this part of the journey with you.
My New Additions!
In recent years, another creative gift has blossomed born from a tender chapter in my life. On this site, you’ll find a growing collection of inspiring children’s stories, all authored and illustrated by me.
As a digital artist and storyteller, I’ve poured my heart into these short, meaningful tales each one designed to nurture faith in God, encourage good manners, and share timeless life lessons. These stories are perfect for bedtime reading with your children or grandchildren, offering warmth and wisdom without wearing out tired eyes.
Thank you for being here. Whether you’re seeking comfort, inspiration, or a gentle story to share, I hope you find something that speaks to your heart.
