About Me

I’m Meghan McPhee Webb, a horticulturist and landscape professional whose connection to gardening began long before it became a career. I grew up gardening alongside my mother, grandmother, and godmother, and some of my earliest memories are of planting impatiens in my mother’s rock garden and mowing neighborhood lawns as a kid.

After returning to college for horticulture and landscape design in 2005, I worked throughout school in work-study positions, internships, and seasonal horticulture jobs. I served as president of my horticulture club, participated in PLANET student career events and competitions in plant identification and landscape design, and represented my program as a student ambassador at the GIE.

I moved into professional landscape account management in 2010 and have worked full-time in the horticulture industry ever since. My career has taken me through gardens across coastal New England, from the Maine coast and Massachusetts North Shore to Boston MetroWest, Nantucket, and Cape Cod.

Over the years, my work has included pruning, plant health, garden diagnostics, native and pollinator landscapes, irrigation, garden design, seasonal care, and long-term landscape stewardship.

Beach Rose Botanicals is where I bring all of that experience together. My guides are built from real gardens, real fieldwork, and the lessons that only come from years of observing plants through good seasons, bad winters, mistakes, recoveries, and everything in between.

I believe gardeners deserve practical information that explains not only what to do, but why.
