Hi, I'm Tanya Mama to Bowie, a curious, kind, ice-cream-loving little boy who plays basketball, practices Karate and loves Roblox, and who once drew me as Superwoman.

Bowie came into my life through a wish. I'd always wanted a little person to love, and I didn't want to wait for the "traditional" way to arrive. As he got older, he began to notice that his family looks different from some others around him, especially on Father's Day. His questions deserved a beautiful answer.

So we started writing stories. Bedtime Stories with Bowie is a growing collection of gentle bedtime stories about every kind of family: one parent, two mums, two dads, grandparents, blended families, and more. Each one is a reminder that every child was wished for and that love makes a family.
