Hello, I'm Annmarie Ebanks!

I'm a former Higher Level Teaching Assistant with experience supporting secondary school students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Through my work in education, I've seen first-hand how much potential young people have when they're understood, encouraged and given opportunities that suit their individual strengths.

I created Beyond the Guidelines to share practical advice, real experiences and helpful resources with parents, carers and young people navigating education and life beyond the classroom.

I believe that success isn't measured by exam results alone. Every young person deserves the opportunity to discover their strengths, build confidence and work towards a future that's right for them.
