About Me
Hamid Trimech is a bioprocess engineer with a decade of experience in vaccine manufacturing, technology transfer, and CDMO operations. Based in Tokyo, Japan, he has worked with global pharmaceutical companies and CDMOs across Asia, South America, and Europe.
He contributed to the technology transfer and manufacturing of a recombinant protein COVID-19 vaccine in Japan, and led the construction of a drug substance facility and the technology transfer of the world's first approved self-amplifying mRNA vaccine.
He is the founder of VaxEng, an independent consulting company dedicated to vaccine manufacturing and process engineering, and the author of the Biomanufacturing Made Simple book series — a practical resource for bioprocess engineers and students entering the industry.
