About Me

I'm Bitkon Vrimda Adamu Tubi — a case management and community engagement practitioner from Bauchi, Nigeria, with over five years of frontline experience in public health, protection work, and trauma-informed care. By day, I manage community-based case systems for one of Nigeria's leading health organizations, working directly with vulnerable populations and coordinating field teams across digital data platforms. I'm also completing an MSc in Social Standards, with published research on public health ethics and policy in Northern Nigeria.

But outside the case files and field reports, I'm a storyteller and builder at heart.

DARA — the game I build, is my tribute to the Zaar (Sayawa) people of Northern Nigeria — a traditional strategy board game passed down through generations, now reimagined for a digital audience. Every rule, every mechanic, carries a piece of the culture I grew up around. Building it taught me as much about patience and iteration as any professional project has — testing, refining, and rebuilding until the game truly honored the tradition it's based on.

I'm also a novelist, drawn to stories that explore identity, resilience, and the quiet complexities of navigating tradition and modern life — themes I encounter daily in my professional work, and ones I find myself returning to again and again on the page.

Whether you're here for the game, the story, or just curious about the person behind both — thank you for supporting independent, culturally-rooted work from Bauchi, Nigeria. Every purchase helps me keep building.
