"Hi, I’m the creator behind Black Forest Photography. My journey into the world of capturing light began in 2016, a few years after moving from Athens, Greece, to the stunning Villingen-Schwenningen in Germany’s Black Forest.

Enchanted by the raw natural beauty and unique architecture of the region, I realized that a smartphone wasn't enough to capture what my eyes were seeing. Starting with a Sony a58 and later a Nikon d5100, I dedicated myself to mastering the Manual Mode. I believe that the true magic of photography happens when you control the camera, not the other way around.

I wrote this settings book because I saw many talented beginners stuck in 'Auto Mode' out of fear. My goal is to strip away that hesitation. Through my experience, I want to give you the foundational knowledge to take 100% creative control of your shots and transform a temporary hobby into a lifelong passion.
