The past was buried. The legacy was never forgotten.

Long ago, in the Kingdom of Kongo, a powerful stone was hidden beneath an ancient tree. This mysterious stone protected the kingdom and carried a force capable of nurturing life and maintaining balance far beyond its borders.

Only a few truly understood its importance.

Among them were King Nzinga A Nkuwu, his children Dona Ya Kimpavita and Mfumu Kimbangu, and the people of the kingdom who had lived under the protection of the stone for generations.

But everything changes when strangers arrive.

When the Portuguese explorers Diogo Cão, Francisco Tomas, and Paolo Tomas reach the shores of Kongo, they are initially welcomed peacefully. The encounter between the two peoples seems like the beginning of a new relationship.

But beneath the smiles, another plan is already taking shape.

Back in Portugal, Paolo discovers the true intentions of the Portuguese crown: the Kingdom of Kongo is to be colonized, its people converted to Christianity, and those who refuse will face violence.

Unable to accept what he has heard, Paolo makes a decision that will change his destiny forever.

He leaves his own people behind and returns alone to Kongo.

There, he encounters Kimpavita, Kimbangu, and Boubou. At first, Paolo is treated as an enemy. But after revealing the truth about the Portuguese plans, the three begin to trust him.

As tensions rise, the Portuguese return to Kongo with Alvarez Jesus, a preacher sent to introduce Christianity to the kingdom. King Nzinga A Nkuwu refuses to accept their demands, while Kimpavita and Kimbangu grow increasingly suspicious of the strangers.

Soon, the fragile peace collapses.

Violence erupts.

When Francisco discovers the extraordinary powers possessed by the people of Kongo, he realizes that they are far more dangerous than the Portuguese expected.

The conflict escalates into war.

And in the middle of it stands Paolo Tomas—caught between the people he was born among and the people he has chosen to protect.

When Francisco ultimately turns against his own brother, Paolo’s fate becomes intertwined with the ancient power of Kongo forever.

Kimpavita and Kimbangu save Paolo and hide him beneath the rock of a mountain, preserving a secret that will survive for centuries.

The Portuguese eventually succeed in colonizing the Kingdom of Kongo.

But they cannot destroy the legacy.

547 years later, a newborn named Nzinga Nzola, known as Zora Okinawa, enters the world.

Raised far from the land where his ancestors’ story began, in Japan, Zora grows up unaware of the immense legacy flowing through his blood.

Until a mysterious Nyoka necklace, given to him by his adoptive father, becomes the key to awakening the power inherited from his ancestors.

A forgotten history is about to return.

An ancient legacy is about to awaken.
