Hello! I'm Tracey the person behind Bluebird & Daisy. 

From my creative beginnings as a quilter when I was 13 years old the yarn bug bit in 2014 when new owners of my local yarn shop arrived. Whilst I have knitted since I was 7 years old, I have Tori and Cara to thank for my obsession with knitting and crochet and all things yarn.

You will find crochet along patterns for blankets, amigurumi animals and oddities, knitted cardigans and jumpers with the odd shawl and scarf thrown in too. Using British yarn and in particular local yarns is important to me. I love Coldharbour Mill and John Arbon Yarns to name just two, both of which are a short distance away.

Living in Mid-Devon I am surrounded by beautiful countryside with the coast only a short distance away. I am inspired by how nature always gets her colours right. I believe that anyone can make anything they want and that difficulty is in the mind. If you like it you will work out how to make it. 

As a side to the creativity I am also a tech editor and am happy to look at both crochet and knitting patterns including pattern writing and grading of garments.

I love creating amigurumi's from scratch, especially when there is no pattern in addition to creating graphs of logos or pictures for crochet blankets. Contact me if there is something you'd like to create but you can't find the pattern.
