Meet The Author
I’m Jason Giardino, and let me start by saying I’m not a therapist, relationship expert, or someone who has all the answers. I’m just a guy who’s lived enough life to realize that relationships would be a hell of a lot easier if we understood the baggage we’re all dragging around.
I wrote Baggage Claim because I’ve seen how past experiences, emotional triggers, insecurities, and poor communication can turn something beautiful into an absolute circus. And sometimes, we’re so busy pointing fingers at our partners that we forget to look at what we’re bringing to the relationship ourselves.
This book isn’t about blaming men, blaming women, or pretending love is easy. It’s about understanding ourselves, recognizing unhealthy patterns, learning to communicate, and figuring out how to love someone without letting yesterday ruin today.
I believe relationships take patience, accountability, consistency, and a sense of humor—because if you can’t laugh at some of this stuff, you might just lose your damn mind.
No psychology degree. No sugarcoating. Just real-life perspective, a little sarcasm, and some lessons worth sharing.
Welcome to Baggage Claim. Let’s unpack some shit.
