About Me
Hi, I'm Kelsey.
I'm a Early childhood teacher, antental and parent educator, mum of two and the founder of BORN.
I’ve spent years working with children and families, first in education and later as a Community Karitane with Whānau Āwhina Plunket. Along the way, I saw how much it matters for parents to have someone who will listen, answer their questions and offer practical support without judgement.
We spend so much time preparing for birth, but often much less time preparing for what comes after. The newborn days, changing relationships and endless questions can feel overwhelming, even when you thought you were ready. That’s why I created BORN.
Through antenatal education, infant massage and parent groups, BORN offers evidence-based information, connection and a place to be yourself. My hope is that you leave feeling more confident, more supported and a little less alone.
I believe there is no such thing as a perfect parent—only parents who deserve the right information, encouragement, and community.
My approach is warm, realistic, and grounded in both professional knowledge and genuine compassion. At BORN, you'll find a safe space to ask questions, build connections, and grow in confidence, because when parents feel supported, families thrive.
