Jenny McCann-Learning Through Reading

I worked as a secondary English teacher for over 15 years, designing curricula and interventions to support children to achieve their educational goals. I also spent many years working in pastoral roles and supporting children who were struggling with their school experience. After leaving teaching in 2020, I ran a children’s bookshop for 5 years, creating fun book related activities and events for my local community. My goal for Branch and Chapter is to help families fall in love with books and learning-one classic children's book at a time!
