About Me

Singing has always been my passion — my go-to for feeling good and getting out of my head.

Growing up, whenever I was alone, I would belt out my favorite songs at the top of my lungs — Whitney Houston, Chaka Khan, all of it. I was the classic “Shower Singer.”

But the moment it came time to perform in front of people? I held back. I used to get so frustrated with myself, wondering why I couldn’t just sing the way I did when no one was watching.

Over the years, I realized my vocal shyness came down to one thing: the fear of not sounding perfect. That perfectionism was quietly keeping me from fully expressing myself. When I was alone, there was no pressure — so the notes just flowed (most of the time!).

After years of inner work and learning how to sing through the fear, I finally discovered the real power of my voice — and why being heard matters. That journey is exactly what led me to vocal coaching, where I quickly learned I wasn’t alone. So many singers struggle with this.

That’s why I created this guide — packed with effective exercises to help shy singers finally break out of their shell.

If you hold back when others are around but come alive when you’re by yourself, this is for you. Welcome, fellow Shower Singer.
