Meet Bramble Bean: The Coffee-Loving Monster who is always reminding you to drink you water.
Bramble Bean is a cozy, plant-loving café monster who smells faintly of espresso and rain. He runs a tiny Brewed café tucked between the bookshelves and potted plants of The Monster Emporium. At the Brewed Cafe,the coffee is always warm, the bees are frequent visitors, and everyone is welcome.
If you've ever wished for a quiet corner to sit with a warm drink and a good story, Bramble Bean will save you a seat. Be warned though, if you let him start a story, you might be there all night.
He's known for a few things around the Emporium. Everybody knows he will always have a coffee or tea ready for you the second you walk in (I'm pretty sure Amorae made a spell for that). He always has a good story at the ready, leaves encouraging notes in unexpected places, and is constantly walking around the shop with a mop, mumbling about Pippa leaving muddy footprints again.
He also has a habit of adopting plants whenever they're having a difficult day. Which has resulted in a café that's becoming more of a greenhouse than coffee shop.
So far, no one has had the heart to stop him. Not that Bramble Bean would notice if they did. He's usually too busy carrying trays of drinks, chatting with the plants, or convincing the bees not to steal pastries from the display case.
One of Bramble's most frequent visitors is Pippa. Pippa never seems to arrive through the front door with anything other than muddy boots. Every single time. Bramble shuffles after her with a mop. Pippa somehow finds another puddle (I'm also pretty sure Amorae has something to do with that too). It's become a routine. The sort of routine that makes a place feel like home. And perhaps that's what Bramble Bean is really about.
Not perfection. Not having everything figured out.
Just creating a cozy place where people can slow down for a moment, enjoy a little creativity, and remember that it's okay to take things one step at a time. A snack helps too, and extra whip cream on a fancy coffee.
This month, Bramble Bean is the featured monster inside The Oopsie Spell Club, where members can visit the café, meet the bees, explore printable activities, and collect a few cozy surprises inspired by their story.
After all, not every spell goes according to plan. Sometimes it fizzles. Sometimes it sparkles sideways. And sometimes it leads you to a tiny café run by a monster who thinks you deserve the good mug ( and a glass water.)
