A Royal Welcome to King Ollie!
There are some monsters who quietly slip into the Monster Emporium without anyone noticing, like Juniper, but the August monster definitely got noticed.
Long before anyone spotted his tiny crown, the sound of cheerful laughter echoed through the hallways. Soon after came colorful streamers, the smell of freshly baked cake (the kind with buttercream frosting!), and exactly five balloons bobbing through the front door.
Always five. Always.

When asked why, King Ollie simply smiles. "Five feels just right."
Every morning, he ties five balloons to his little crown and sets off on a royal adventure through the Emporium. By sunset, every balloon has found a new home.
One is given to someone who tried something new. One goes to someone who was kind. Another is for someone who kept going even when things were difficult. One celebrates a tiny victory that almost went unnoticed. And the last... well... King Ollie always seems to know exactly who needs it most.
Nobody has ever seen him return with a balloon still in his hand.
Of course, no celebration is complete without cake. He calls cupcakes mini cakes, and uses them for every mini celebration.
King Ollie somehow always has cakes nearby. Birthday cake, strawberry cake, chocolate cake... rumor has it he even keeps emergency cupcakes tucked away for unexpected mini celebrations. (Don't ask where. That's royal business.)

He's also introduced a brand-new tradition to the Monster Emporium:
Mini Celebrations.
Finished your homework? Hooray!
Learned to tie your shoes? Hooray!
Watered your plants? Double hooray!
Made someone smile? Now that's worth celebrating.
Even Mr. Pennington has been spotted accepting a slice of cake... although he now keeps a respectful distance whenever balloons are involved. He's recently discovered a new fear. The sound of balloons popping. King Ollie is thoughtful though, and treats his balloons with care, and makes sure everyone knows them that way too.
This month, King Ollie has filled the Oopsie Spell Club with joyful adventures, creative activities, and gentle reminders that happiness doesn't have to wait for birthdays or big milestones. Sometimes the very best celebrations are the tiny ones that happen on ordinary Tuesdays.
So grab a balloon, save room for cake, and celebrate something wonderful today.
King Ollie certainly will.
After all, you don't need a birthday to celebrate.
Sometimes Tuesday is reason enough.
Welcome to the Monster Emporium, Your Majesty.
