We discovered her in the library.
It started with a strange noise coming from behind the shelves.
Scritch. Scratch. Scritch.
Mr. Pennington went to investigate.
Behind a stack of old books, he found a pair of enormous glasses. Then a bright green face. Then a great deal of wild blue hair.

And finally, a very curious little monster carrying three notebooks and an alarming number of erasers.
“Hello!” she said. “Do you know where I am?”
“The Monster Emporium,” said Mr. Pennington.
Her eyes grew wide.
“The Monster Emporium?!” She immediately opened a notebook and continued, “Who runs it? How old is it? Where do the monsters come from? What's behind that door? Why are there so many books? And who—”
“Perhaps,” Mr. Pennington interrupted, “you could tell me who you are?”
The little monster straightened her glasses. “Professor Wizzlewick.”
“Professor?”
She nodded. “Not really a professor.”
Mr. Pennington raised an eyebrow.

Apparently, Professor Wizzlewick had discovered the Emporium several days earlier while following a very important question. She had intended to investigate for five minutes. Unfortunately, one question became another. Then another. And before she knew it, she had moved in.
She has now been officially welcomed to the Monster Emporium. Her research continues.
Nobody knows exactly what she's researching. Not even Professor Wizzlewick. But she has plenty of erasers, several notebooks, and a LOT of questions.
September's lesson from Wizzlewick:
Never stop wondering. Because you don't have to know all the answers to be clever.
Sometimes the best adventures begin with three little words: “I wonder why...”
Professor Wizzlewick's September envelope is filled with curious little activities, printables, stickers, bookmarks, and a few opportunities to investigate.

Come meet her and see what she's been up to at the Monster Emporium.
Professor Wizzlewick
