I moved to Thailand and retired in 2013. In 2014 I started to build a modern, comfortable home designed to reduce the effects of the heat and minimise energy costs. We are based in the northeast, a region called Isaan, and I have been happily enjoying our home with my lovely Thai wife, since we moved in early 2015.
