Meet Your Coach

I’m William Upson, an Exercise Science graduate and Integrative Movement Specialist who helps adults improve strength, movement, balance, confidence, and long-term independence through a holistic approach to healthy aging.


My passion for this work is deeply personal.


My grandmother was active and independent for most of her life. She loved gardening, staying busy, and doing things on her own. But over time, I watched how small physical declines gradually began affecting her movement, confidence, and quality of life.


Then one fall changed everything.


What started as a single incident led to a rapid decline in mobility, independence, and overall health. Seeing that firsthand completely changed the way I viewed fitness and aging.


I realized most people are never taught how to actively support the physical qualities that help them stay independent as they get older — things like balance, strength, coordination, posture, and movement confidence.


Instead, many people are told to simply accept pain, weakness, stiffness, and physical decline as a normal part of aging.

I don’t believe that has to be the case.


For the past several years, I’ve worked with adults in both private training and group settings to help improve:

  • balance and stability
  • strength and posture
  • mobility and coordination
  • movement confidence
  • real-world movement capability
  • long-term health and independence


My goal is simple:


To help people continue doing the things they love with strength, confidence, and independence for years to come.
