China Historic Bonds is an on-line trading company located in Hong Kong and specialising in buying and selling historical Chinese bonds. We consider that these are collector's items of historical interest and do not regard them as viable financial securities. We deal mainly with China Bonds from the 100 year period from 1850-1950 when the Chinese Government sought foreign investment to finance various infra-structure projects, such as railways, or other Government projects.
The Directors of the company are avid collectors of China Bonds, and have gained a wealth of knowledge about the nature of China Bonds, their origin and historical significance. Through the medium of this website we intend to share our extensive research and to provide on-line information for collectors and dealers alike.
