About Me

Hi, I’m Jose Avila, MS, CCRC, a clinical research coordinator with experience supporting diabetes, medical device, sensor accuracy, therapeutic, and exercise-related clinical trials.

I created CRC Study Lab after studying for the CCRC exam myself. One of the most frustrating parts of preparing was not just learning the material, but figuring out what to focus on. There are a lot of clinical research guidelines, regulations, and study resources out there, but they can feel scattered, expensive, and hard to organize into a clear study plan. My goal with CRC Study Lab is to make CCRC prep feel more focused and practical. The resources here are designed to help clinical research professionals understand the major concepts, review common exam traps, and practice applying site-level clinical research logic.

These materials are independent study resources and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by ACRP. They do not contain actual CCRC exam questions, and no certification outcome is guaranteed.
