About Me

My passion is to make the world a better place by touching one person at a time through my writing. When I create a story, it's to uplift those who read it. It's to teach through content, poetry, and history the strength inside us that is divine.

I'm also passionate about education and am an avid self-educator by studying and reading good literature. I began my journey by attending the College of Idaho in Rexburg, Idaho, the College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls, Idaho, and Great Basin College, in Elko, Nevada graduating with a degree in Liberal Arts with an emphasis on English. I have also worked in the Twin Falls and Medford school districts as a paraprofessional.

I had an inspirational site in 2020 through my website Syringa Books where I wrote poetry and articles two to three times a week for a year. I later compiled all my articles into two published books, wrote two books of poetry, a Native American Fantasy, another fantasy, two historical fictions, a memoir, and am currently working on another memoir.

My husband and I live in Twin Falls, Idaho where we raise a large garden and have chickens. We have five children, all living in Idaho, have 17 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. One of our daughters is a gifted artist at createfulart.com. Her art is featured on three of my books.
