Cal is a regular speaker and lecturer at universities and conferences across North America, the Caribbean, and Europe including the Harvard Business School Alumni, Institute of Management Consultants USA, and Deusto University in Spain and is the author of two business books. The Consultant with Pink Hair is a novel about a small consulting firm that solves their struggle to attract new clients by defining, communicating and proving their expertise. His second book titled Buying Professional Services: Replacing the Price-Based Request for Proposal With Qualifications Based Selection is a step-by-step guide for institutional and government buyers of professional services to use a qualifications based selection process instead of a price-based RFP. Cal is a graduate of The University of Manitoba, University of Nevada (Reno) and Red River College and a long-time lecturer at three universities in Canada.
