About Me
Carlos Young is the Co-Director of Lighthouse Marriage Ministries, serving alongside his wife, Yvonne, in the city of Katy, Texas. Together, they have built a ministry devoted to strengthening Christian marriages, teaching biblical
truth, and restoring the spiritual lights in families of every background. Carlos and Yvonne are the proud parents of five sons: Phoenix, Zion, Jaydon, Jared, and Chase. They recently welcomed their first granddaughter, Sonnet, a joyful reminder of God’s continued faithfulness through generations. Carlos
worships at The Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church in Houston, Texas, where he has served and taught for many years. His passion is helping believers apply Scripture to real life in their homes, marriages, workplaces, and community. His pastor is Rev. Daymond A. Wilkins, a very proximate and loving teacher and light-reflecting expositor of the Word. Before entering full-time ministry work, Carlos spent years leading global teams while shaping communities through his business and leadership experience. Today, besides running a successful family business, he uses his administrative gifts to counsel families, mentor fathers, speak at various events, encourage husbands and wives, and help the body of Christ universal to become a beacon of hope in a world hungry for restoration.
Carlos loves cooking, gardening, family conversations, and any moment spent learning, laughing, or praying with Yvonne and his family. Together, they continue to build Lighthouse Marriage Ministries into a safe place for healing, discipleship, and biblical teaching that transforms marriages, encourages people seeking marriage, and inspires all God’s children, one household at a time.
