About MSW Art

Crafting stories in paper…

Each hand-cut mini poster tells a tale of creativity and resilience.

My art is crafted with precision and passion through the delicate art of paper cutting! My paper cutting technique adds an extra 3D dimension of beauty and intricacy to each design, making my posters a delightful keepsake. I’m always adding new and exciting creations to my collections.

Each miniature masterpiece is 100% unique They're meticulously designed and cut by hand to bring joy and wonder to every recipient. They are made by a chronically ill and disabled individual who is crafting art projects into something new and exciting from bed.

Why settle for ordinary mass-produced paper crafts when you can gift something truly exceptional?

Learn More About My Work

Crafting Stories Through Paper

Each unique work of art featured in this store is an offering to Mother Nature and an homage to my childhood in northern Ontario, Canada and my love for all things Asian. Best of all, it's up-cycled and environmentally friendly, which is something I take great pride in!

My work is bold but delicate and it reflects the transient nature of my life as an immigrant in that my art can be seen as temporary.

Each piece of art is ready to hang or showcase on its own, but many customers have picked frames for them as I've done.

My fascination with framing cards and mini posters began at an early age.

I've kept every card and poster ever given to me and I often change my art out each season to reflect my own personal changes.

I love the idea of producing art that people can enjoy in the same way I have for the past 40 years.

Showcasing Your Art

One of the things I pride myself on is that each piece of art that is offered through my shop is 100% unique. I don’t scan and print additional replicas. Thus your purchase is truly one of a kind.

Each work of art is infused with creativity and care, and I've done it all from bed as I'm not mobile and mostly bedbound or in my wheelchair.

Crafted with passion through the delicate art of paper cutting, my art is 100% unique. The collages you see here are meticulously designed and cut by hand to bring joy and wonder to every recipient.

My art features whimsical designs from butterfly castles to fairy groves to sugar skulls, sea creatures, dragons, butterflies, dragonflies, birds, and all kinds of flora and fauna.

Whether you’re looking for a budget-friendly one-of-a-kind birthday gift, a heartfelt thank-you gift, or a unique piece of art to frame, your purchase will be cherished for years to come.

Carrie Kellenberger

Disabled Canadian artist, author, and advocate living in beautiful Taiwan…

I’ve been crafting stories in paper all my life through writing and art. All my work is 100% original and unique. I don't print or scan replicas of my work.

My art ranges from freeform wire sculptures and jewelry to paper crafts, clay, and painting. I taught art classes throughout my 20s and 30s and was a member of the Amaryllis Artist Guild in Lanark County, Ontario, Canada for many years. My work in custom tiaras and bridal jewelry was featured in Justina McCaffrey Bridal Designs in the early 2000s in the Byward Market before I moved to Asia in 2003. The disabling diseases that I live with have forced me to slow down and focus on the things I can still do. They've also made me realize that art and writing are huge passions that deserve my attention, not only because they reflect who I am, but also because the act of creating is a coping technique that allows me to escape from the Kingdom of the Sick for hours each day.

Art has always been at the heart and soul of what I do. I hope you see my passion for it reflected here.
