About Me
Cath Sheldrick is the founder of Living Lightly Worldwide and the custodian of Adrian’s Croft, a smallholding and learning space rooted in permaculture, simplicity, and care for both people and planet.
Her work is shaped by a life lived close to the land, alongside years of international community work, mentoring, and humanitarian engagement. Drawing equally from practical experience and reflective practice, Cath explores what it means to live lightly not only on the land, but also in body, mind, and spirit.
Through her writing, Cath invites readers to slow down, observe, and reconnect — with nature, with one another, and with their own values. Her books blend gentle guidance with real-world application, offering accessible pathways into permaculture thinking, seasonal living, and more conscious ways of being.
Whether writing for beginners or those further along their journey, Cath’s intention is always the same: to encourage small, thoughtful changes that, collectively, can lead to a more resilient and compassionate world.
