I am an author, artist, teacher and entrepreneur with a passion for transforming fabric using both traditional and unexpected techniques and materials. I am best known for my work with Shiva® Artist’s Paintstiks® and the many ways they can be used on fabric.
I've written three books related to my fabric art: Paintstiks on Fabric, Design Magic, and Rubbing Plate Roundup –– and I publish Fabric Art Magic, an occasional online newsletter for fabric art enthusiasts.
I currently live with my sweetheart in the lovely town of Chapala in central Mexico where I enjoy a quieter lifestyle and pursue my signature Paint+Stitch+Bead form of fiber art. http://cedarcanyontextiles.com/
