Celia R. Garcia-Mendoza is a mentor and recent Social Work graduate from Fresno Pacific University. Celia has a background that includes over 15 years in Human and Social Services. She aspires to continue to empower individuals in her community by guiding them to utilize their own personal talents. She is an encourager and has become an inspiration to others. She has overcome challenges such as cancer, loss of an unborn baby, depression, and low levels of confidence. Celia is an advocate for Mental Health Awareness and a resource to her community while being a wife, mother of two children, and returning adult student who is currently pursuing a Master’s in Social Work at Campbellsville University.
