I've spent over 25 years in classrooms, workplaces and boardrooms, trying to understand one question above all others: why do people do what they do?

With degrees in psychology, philosophy, and education, an inquisitive mind has influenced my professional life. I've supported state and private sector nursery, primary and secondary schools. I also work as a consultant with teams and leaders in public sector and commercial organisations, with every type of team - from a handful of people who work in one room, to multinational groups collaborating across time zones and borders.

The thread running through all of it has been the same — a deep curiosity about human behaviour, what shapes it, and how understanding it can help us to grow.

I'm based on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, and when I'm not working you'll most likely find me belting out a song, reading, wandering the hills, or deep in conversation — or trying to do all four at the same time.
