About Me



Charisse Elisabeth Sims, formerly known by her maiden name Howell, is a woman of resilience and determination. With a degree in divinity, she embarked on a journey of self-discovery and empowerment, overcoming adversity and finding strength in her faith.


In 2010, Charisse took a courageous step to leave an abusive marriage, setting herself on a path towards healing and freedom. After years of perseverance, she finalized her divorce in 2015, marking a new chapter in her life.


In 2017, amidst her journey of personal growth and healing, Charisse crossed paths with her now-husband and the father of her children. Despite the challenges she faced, including battling infertility and PCOS, she found love and support in her partner, who stood by her side as she pursued her career ambitions.


As a director-level HR Professional, Charisse excels in her field, demonstrating leadership and dedication while navigating the complexities of corporate life. Despite the demands of her career, she remains committed to advocating for mental health awareness, particularly among Black women, and supporting those facing infertility or undergoing IVF.


Charisse's journey is a testament to the power of resilience, faith, and the unwavering pursuit of personal and professional fulfillment. Through her experiences and advocacy, she inspires others to find strength in adversity and embrace their journey towards healing and success.
