About Me

Charles Hylton’s journey began in the Bronx, but his roots and heart are firmly planted in Antigua, where he was raised. A natural leader, Charles excelled in academics, graduating from John Jay College of Criminal Justice with a Bachelor's degree in criminal justice and a minor in English. His passion for helping others led him to pursue a master’s in social work, where he developed a deep understanding of community and the challenges within it. Despite his academic success, Charles never gave up on of his love for music, founding Self Love Records and releasing tracks like "Greed" and "I Know."

As Charles' career progressed, his passion for the music industry evolved, leading him into artist management and music consultation. He found success managing Antiguan Dancehall artist Puppa Biggs, and through his consulting business, he has supported countless artists in their musical endeavors. But Charles knew there was more he could do to uplift the island that shaped him. This realization inspired him to start a podcast that highlights artists from Antigua while promoting his growing brand. Fueled by his favorite beverage, coffee, Charles has navigated the hurdles of life with determination, and his store is a testament to that journey. By supporting the store, you're not just buying a product – you're helping Charles complete his mission of putting Antigua and Barbuda on the global map.
