Cindy Villanueva, originally from California, now resides in Florida. She writes contemporary romance for more mature women--"the women society would love to make invisible," she notes. She began the Blooming series because she believes that women over 30 deserve stories that reflect their unique perspectives (careers, kids, broken relationships, or long-term commitments). Each of the four books features one of the dear friends and explores their challenges as they age, always believing in the profound value of friendship and the power of second chances at love.
