The thing about a coloring book is that you can take it with you wherever you go, work on it while waiting for appointments, in line to pick up the kids, or just to pass time while watching tv.
The pages allow you to be creative without the pressure of having to create the entire design.
Last year my mom had a fall and she was in the hospital for a few months.
Having coloring books helped us to fill the time while waiting for her to be able to come back home.
We finished several pages and hung them on the walls and it became a conversation starter with all the doctors, nurses, and the many people who visited mom's room.
Not to mention that it really gave the walls a boost!
We filled the days with color and conversation and I will always remember our time spent together.
