About Me
Hi, I’m Tiffany Andrews, RN.
I’m a Director of Nursing with years of experience in long-term care, and I created Connecting the Dots® because I believe one of the biggest challenges in nursing isn’t learning the facts—it’s learning how to think.
Throughout my career, I’ve watched new nurses graduate with knowledge of diseases, medications, assessments, and laboratory values, yet still feel overwhelmed when standing in front of a real patient. Nursing school teaches the pieces. Experience teaches you how to put those pieces together.
That’s where Connecting the Dots® began.
My mission is to help nurses develop clinical judgment by recognizing patterns, asking better questions, and understanding the “why” behind what they’re seeing. Every Clinical Blueprint, worksheet, and educational resource is designed to bridge the gap between textbook knowledge and confident bedside decision-making.
As a long-term care nurse, I know firsthand that we often practice without the resources available in a hospital. We rely on assessment skills, critical thinking, and timely communication to recognize subtle changes before they become emergencies. Those experiences have shaped every resource I create.
My hope is that these tools help nurses build confidence, strengthen clinical reasoning, and ultimately provide safer, more compassionate care for every patient.
Because nursing isn’t about memorizing information—every patient has a story and it’s your job to connect the dots.
