About Me

David Shestokas earned his B.A. in Political Science from Bradley University in 1975 and his Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School, cum laude, in June of 1987. In 1986-87 he served on The John Marshall Law Review. He studied law at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland.

He is the author of Constitutional Sound Bites which has 150 questions and answers about America's Founding documents, and Creating the Declaration of Independence which follows Thomas Jefferson and John Adams in the weeks before July 4, 1776.

His has worked with Dr. Berta Arias, past president of the Illinois Latino Council on Higher Education to provide accurate Spanish translations of information regarding America's Founding and First Principles as embodied in the Declaration of Independence, Constitution and Bill of Rights, and the only book in Spanish to explain America's Founding documents, Capsulas Informativas Constitucionales.
