About Me
Amos T. Cooley, J.D., MDI, CFSP, is a licensed funeral director and embalmer in Indiana, Missouri, and Kansas. He previously owned three funeral homes, has served as a deputy coroner, and is a Certified Medicolegal Death Investigator and Certified Funeral Service Practitioner. He has devoted his professional work to caring for deceased people and helping families make difficult decisions with dignity and accurate information. He recently graduated from law school and sat for the bar examination. His writing brings funeral-service knowledge, death-investigation experience, business ownership, and legal training together to help the public understand the choices that arise after a death.
