Hi, I’m Lisa — a writer, dreamer, and lifelong sky-gazer who has been scribbling poems and stories since I was a girl in the Bronx, looking up at the clouds and talking to God.

Over the years, I’ve walked through some very hard seasons, and storytelling has always been my safe place — a way to share hope, faith, and gentle light in a sometimes overwhelming world.

LuvLee Children’s Books was born from a simple idea: that children deserve stories that feel safe, comforting, and full of love. I write gentle, heart-centered stories for children — from re-imagined nursery rhymes (...because classic nursery rhymes don’t have to be scary, harsh, or hopeless… they can be soaked in kindness) ... to original characters like Buzzy Bee and friends.

My hope is to create books that:
