About Me
My name is Susanna, and I am Mexican. I am a child mental health professional working in the United States, supporting children and families in their emotional development and daily lives. I currently work with children with autism spectrum disorders and their families.
Through my work and life experiences, I have learned that working with children is a privilege that requires patience, humility, and a lot of love. It is not about having all the answers, but about learning to observe, listen, and grow alongside them.
Each child has taught me something different: to respect their pace, to understand their silence, to look beyond their behaviors, and to recognize the importance of sensitive and compassionate guidance.
I have also learned a lot from parents: their constant effort, their genuine concern, and their deep desire to do what is best for their children, even when the road ahead is difficult.
That is why I create these materials with care and responsibility, with the aim of offering simple, real, and human tools that support both children and their families.
This space has been created based on my experience, but also on my desire to continue learning every day.
Thank you for trusting this space and for accompanying me on this journey.
With love,
Susanna 💙
