I am a first-time novelist publishing under my imprint, the Cryolite Press. After an early career in legal publishing and journalism, I spent over twenty years in senior leadership roles for a number of not-for-profit or charitable organisations. I've worked in a number of different sectors – including adoption and fostering, child development, the impact of early trauma, parenting, cancer support services and blood stem cell transplantation – all of which have given me a great insight into the challenges that many people face in their day-to-day lives and relationships, and how they develop personally as they come to terms with these issues. Aspects of these insights and experiences inevitably appear in my writing.

I am married, with two grown-up children, and currently live in Buckinghamshire in the UK.
