After falling further into debt thanks to their constant shenanigans, Mordecai and Rigby are in dire need of money. Mordecai suggests a variety of ways to quickly gather up the thousand dollars they need, but Rigby finds them all not worth the effort. Instead, he decides that he'll do something a little bit more unconventional... and while what he ends up doing isn't exactly what he planned, once the dollars start coming in, he can't stop.
