FROM SURVIVAL TO A MISSION

My name is NobEL Sha-doe Ali, and the Dominion Educational Program was born during one of the most difficult chapters of my life.

I have lived with sickle cell disease, and complications from the disease severely damaged my kidneys, eventually contributing to Stage 5 kidney failure. As my health changed, so did nearly every part of my life.

I found myself undergoing dialysis, experiencing housing instability, and trying to rebuild my life while facing circumstances I never imagined I would have to overcome.

People told me to start a GoFundMe.

They told me to tell my story, ask for donations, and hope people would help.

But something about that never felt complete to me.

I didn't want to simply ask people to give to me. I wanted to find a way to give something meaningful back.

That idea became the foundation of Dominion.

Instead of creating a traditional store or selling products, I began developing my own donation-and-educational-gift model.

People who believe in the mission can voluntarily support Dominion through donations. In appreciation for that generosity, I make educational books and resources available as gifts to supporters—not products being sold.

The principle behind it is simple:

Your gift helps me build today. My educational gift is intended to help you build tomorrow.

I wanted someone supporting me in the present to receive knowledge that could potentially benefit their family for generations.

So I took years of studying, researching, writing, and learning and began transforming that knowledge into educational resources covering subjects many families are never formally taught: financial literacy, estate planning, trusts and fiduciary administration, contracts, legal and court literacy, business organization, property stewardship, wealth building and protection, family governance, and generational planning.

I wanted gratitude to become education.

I wanted education to become opportunity.

And I wanted opportunity to become legacy.

That is how a personal fight for survival began growing into something much larger.

THE DOMINION EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM

Today, I am building the Dominion Educational Program from the ground up as an educational and humanitarian organization.

Every book I write, every educational resource I develop, and every donation that helps me continue this work represents another piece of a much larger mission.

Because Dominion was never meant to stop with books.

THE GREATER VISION

DOMINION UNIVERSITY & REHABILITATION CENTERS

My long-term mission is to develop Dominion University & Rehabilitation Centers—places designed around education, rehabilitation, agriculture, community development, practical skills, and greater self-sufficiency.

One of the most ambitious parts of that vision is the revitalization of distressed and abandoned properties and, where feasible, forgotten ghost towns.

Instead of allowing these places to disappear, I envision rebuilding them into functioning communities centered around learning, healing, agriculture, opportunity, and human development.

Imagine land that was once abandoned producing food again.

Imagine empty buildings becoming classrooms, libraries, workshops, housing, rehabilitation spaces, and business-development centers.

Imagine people who were struggling being given an environment where they can learn practical skills, understand financial and legal systems, develop businesses, reconnect with the land, and begin rebuilding their lives.

That is the future I am working toward.

A COMMUNITY DESIGNED TO HELP SUSTAIN ITSELF

Agriculture is intended to be one of the foundations of the Dominion model.

I want these centers to develop farm-to-table systems where food can be grown locally, animals can be responsibly raised, and agricultural production can help supply the community's own kitchens and programs.

Students and residents could learn farming, gardening, food production, animal stewardship, nutrition, sustainability, land management, entrepreneurship, and other practical skills while participating in a real working community.

The goal is not isolation from the world.

The goal is resilience.

To grow what we reasonably can.

To produce what we can.

To teach what we know.

To develop people who can teach others.

And to reinvest knowledge, resources, and opportunity back into the community.

HEALING THROUGH NATURE, KNOWLEDGE & PURPOSE

My own health journey changed the way I think about what it means to rebuild a life.

That is why I envision Dominion as more than a traditional university and more than a traditional rehabilitation center.

I want to create environments where people have opportunities to strengthen themselves mentally, physically, spiritually, educationally, socially, and economically.

Nature would be part of that environment—farmland, gardens, fresh food, outdoor spaces, movement, purposeful work, education, community, and a stronger connection between people and the land around them.

Dominion cannot promise to cure disease or solve every hardship.

But it can work toward creating environments where people have knowledge, resources, community, purpose, and opportunities to rebuild.

WHY YOUR SUPPORT MATTERS

Right now, Dominion is being built from ground zero.

There is no massive corporation behind this story.

There is a person who went through a life-changing illness, experienced housing instability, and decided that survival could either be the end of the story—or the beginning of a mission.

I chose the mission.

When someone donates to support Dominion, they are helping me continue creating educational materials while working toward the infrastructure, land, programs, partnerships, and institutional capacity necessary to turn this vision into something real.

And because I never wanted support to feel one-sided, I continue building educational resources that can be given back to the people helping me move forward.

What started as my attempt to survive has become my commitment to help create opportunities for other people to survive, rebuild, learn, grow, and eventually thrive.

I don't want my struggle to be the end of my story.

I want it to become the foundation of somebody else's opportunity.

And someday, I want to be able to stand on land that was once forgotten, look at a university, rehabilitation center, farm, and thriving community where emptiness once stood, and know that thousands of individual acts of support helped build it.

That is why I'm building Dominion.
